Rangoli color by number

Two rangoli color by number pages with more areas and up to 7 colors. Repeat each color all the way around and the rangoli comes out perfectly symmetrical, just like a real one made with colored powder at the door.

How to do a Diwali color by number page

  1. Print the page at 100% scale on A4 or US Letter paper, or open it online.
  2. Read the color key at the bottom: each number has a color name and an empty box. Color the box first so you remember the match.
  3. Start with the biggest areas, such as the diya bowl, the lantern or the house, then do the small ones.
  4. Online: tap a color in the numbered palette, then tap the area with the same number. Use Hint if you get stuck.

Diwali color by number FAQ

What is Diwali color by number?

Every area of a Diwali picture, such as a diya, a star lantern, a plate of ladoos or a house under fireworks, has a number, and a color key tells you which color goes with each number. Color area 1 with color 1, area 2 with color 2, and so on until the picture is finished.

Is there a rangoli color by number?

Yes. The rangoli section has 2 rangoli color by number pages, a flower rangoli and a geometric rangoli, with more areas and up to 7 colors for a bright, symmetrical finish.

Are these Diwali color by number pages free?

Yes. All 6 pages are free for home and classroom use as PDFs in A4 and US Letter, and you can color them online with no signup.

What ages are they for?

The diya, lantern, sweets and house pages suit ages 4 to 8, with 19 to 32 numbered areas. The rangoli pages have more areas and suit ages 7 and up.

Can I color them on a phone or tablet?

Yes. Open any page, pick a color from the numbered palette, then tap the matching numbered area to fill it. Progress is saved on your device, and you can download the finished picture as a PNG.

What if a small area has no number?

Tiny spots such as small dots and thin stripes are left unnumbered so every digit stays easy to read. Color them any way you like.
